My philosophy is that if God can firvoge us despite our constant disobedience to him (because cheating is more of a moral transgression and disrespect to God more importantly than the spouse) then we should firvoge each other because none of us is above God or firvogeness. We all make mistakes, but returning to that behavior is what will earn you the label of cheater. Once you ask for firvogeness for poor judgment and actions and move on, then it is a mistake of the past, but your record never really gets expunged in marriage. It is possible to be firvogen for mistakes made in marriage and regain the trust and respect of that person, but they’re never going to completely forget what happened, especially when it comes to something as serious as infidelity. It is going to take a while to gain the trust of your spouse after almost throwing everything away for a mere moment of pleasure. The both of you will just use it as a learning experience and move forward if you are still willing. You have to put yourself in the other persons’ shoes and give them some time and space to reevaluate things and firvoge you. You have to firvoge yourself as well. If you return to previous behavior, even for a moment, that person will never take your apologies or repentance seriously. Such is our nature. It is unfair, however, to not give a person a chance to prove themselves after making a mistake. If you agree to firvoge someone in a marriage, you have to do just that and give them time to show their better side instead of constantly making them feel poorly and never allowing them regain your trust by constantly bringing up past mistakes and making them resent you and ultimately themselves as well. Good luck.
